Yield Enhancement System Engineer
**General Description**
The Yield Dashboard is one of the vital components enhancing YE daily operations to support increasing foundry business operating procedure demands. Through YE dashboard, management can define what is important for better resource alignment and focus, along with align YE teams and SAS members about the index expectations that matter to foundry business. YE Dashboard will help to clearly set goals and expectations for specific teams/groups/owners, along with helping SAS executives to be informed and encourage specific actions in a timely manner. The dashboard will highlight exceptions and provide alerts when problems occur, communicate progress and success, and provide a common interface for inter-department works and collaboration for solving issues related to yield. 1. Automate and sustain dashboard yield report, covering critical yield matrixes including PLY, DLY, Zonal Yield, top bin failures for main/critical products and inline defect performances for these devices. 2. Enhance/develop/improve PIE critical trend monitoring (possibly using JMP journal to add tool/chamber level connect in the future) and use these inline trends to better predict the yield BL performance. 3. Support additional analysis needs (systematic and automated ways), including Hi-Lo Yield concepts to inline controls. This work will enhance current yield modeling and prediction capability for YE Organization. 4. Prepare technical brief for senior YE staff members and directors, as needed. 5. Core member to develop and streamline SAS operation efficiency toward World-Best Yield goals through effective BM and innovative lean practices.
**Necessary Skills / Attributes**
* A minimum of BS Degree in Engineering is required. Major in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or a graduate degree is not required but preferred.
* This engineer must have at least 1 year experience/working knowledge/practice as a Process Integration Engineer and familiar with Fab Operation Structure.
* To be considered for this position, a highly motivated candidate is needed with strong (must-have) communication and presentation skills.
* The engineer will need to have the ability to develop and expand the automation works for daily trend monitoring, with keen desire for big data mining and derive solution for yield improvement.
* Proficiency in MS Suites including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word Document required.
* Scripting skill for big data analysis (in Java and/or python for example) is essential to be successful in this job. Database interaction including SQL and Oracle is preferred.
* Familiar with internal SAS Quality system, including eSPEC, GPM, SiMax, WorkPlace, SPC Module, Big Data, YMS, and SharePoint is preferred.
* Statistical analysis skill with working proficiency of application software such as Spotfire and/or JMP is needed.
* Structure problem solving, project management, and routine operation management skill are required.
* Ability to train others, ability to establish standard work-flow and operating instruction is highly preferred.
* Reliable candidate with integrity work ethic and data driven-decision making is preferred.
