Benefits Analyst
**General Description**
Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a Benefits Analyst to join the team! The Sr. Benefits Analyst will be responsible building models, analyzing data, deciphering data, and evaluating benefit trends. Specific Job Duties: Additional job duties include, but are not limited to:
* Interpret, assess, and recommends topics related to medical, dental, life, disability, vision, FSAs, and retirement plans.
* Provide clarity and helping others (employees and peers) understand employee benefits by explaining processes such as benefits eligibility and FSA non-discrimination testing, among other benefits specific processes.
* Partner with external representatives, such as vendors and system administrators. Research and troubleshoot issues until root cause is identified and resolved when technology doesn't perform as expected.
* Serving as a resource and trusted business partner for internal groups. The candidate enjoys participating in cross-functional projects.
* Handle and coordinate multiple projects with limited supervision.
**Necessary Skills / Attributes**
Education, Training, Certification(s) and Minimum # Years Required:
* At least 5 years of direct benefits administration experience required
* Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or a related field required
* Master's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or a related field preferred
* Preferred PHR, SPHR, SHRM Certification, CBP (Certified Benefits Professional Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Software, Tools
* Intermediate to Advanced levels of experience in Microsoft Excel
* Strong quantitative skills and knows how to apply them across a variety of benefits-related activities.
* Familiarity with benefits programs, regulations, and best practices.
* Experience working with HR management systems (ADP and Workday) and knows how to extract relevant information and build reports.
* Proven strong communication skills including writing and speaking by communicating articulately, and effectively, with all levels and various teams within the organization.
* Must be resourceful, have a keen eye for detail and delivers quality work
* Multitask well, re-prioritize accordingly, and meet deadlines consistently.
* Must be flexible and able to juggle the needs of changing priorities of the business while handling pressure well.
* Experience working with protected health information and other confidential data, while using discretion
